"During the past 14 months I have been directly involved in the management and consultation of JMB constructions for the Bendigo Hospital project as a Senior Project Engineer with Lendlease.
Due to unforeseen circumstances JMB were procured to take over and existing contract to install Kooltherm insulation to the concrete soffits. I was the package manager for this contract and worked closely with many member of the JMB team. The works were carried out exceptionally in terms of time, cost, quality and safety and the team were always pleasant to be involved with.
Knowing JMB’s experience in carpentry and having their own contract works being dealt with professionally and efficiently, they were engaged to take on more works throughout the project. These works included Speed panel to fire rated walls and specialist works within the Psychiatry department, all of which were carried out to a high standard and valuable in the project meeting technical and practical completion dates.
JMB’s ability to take on difficult situations and provide professional feedback that assisted in design matters was also fantastic. For any areas that JMB needed to improve on or provide further information for was done so in a quick, positive and diligent manner.
My experience with JMB has led to inviting them to participate in a tender for my current project and I would not hesitate in calling upon them to tender in any future Lendlease projects."
